Interferential Therapy ~ The purpose of interferential therapy is to send very mild electrical current through the skin into the affected tissue of the injured area. The current acts as a “squeegee,” eliminating most of the swelling and fluid buildup around the injured area. This swelling, if left untreated, will accumulate and put pressure on the surrounding muscles and nerves, causing more pain.

Therapeutic Ultrasound ~ The purpose of therapeutic ultrasound is to restore function and heal soft tissue ailments. It is used to treat such conditions as tendonitis, bursitis, muscle spasm, and generalized joint or muscle pain.

  • Increased release of endorphins for greater feeling of well-being
  • Decreased blood pressure for better circulatory health and stress relief
  • Decreased muscle gaurding better effectiveness of treatments
  • Increased muscular range of motion for better flexability
